Welcome to Dr Gujral's Practice, Marsh Surgery
Welcome to our practice website. We aim to provide all of our patients with a comprehensive range of healthcare services covering one-off problems to longer term illnesses. Feel free to explore the site and find out how you and your family can benefit from our personal and professional approach to healthcare provision.
ELECTRONIC PRESCRIBING (EPS) IS NOW LIVE AT THE SURGERY WHICH IS A NEW WAY TO GET YOUR MEDICINE:-
If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit the Practice to pick up your paper prescription, Instead, we will now send it electronically to the Pharmacy you choose to save you time. They can be sent to any Pharmacy near you. To set this up, you need to get the Pharmacy of you choice to 'Nominate' you, it then appears on our system and any repeat prescriptions are electronically sent to the Pharmacy.
If you feel you need to change your Pharmacy Nomination, you can speak to the Pharmacy and get it changed. Electronic Prescribing is reliable, secure and confidential. For more information in details please log onto www.hscic.gov.uk/epspatients

As well as being able to see when we are open at the click of a mouse we’ve made it easier for you to do a number of things. Check out how to order a repeat prescription or cancel your appointment online.
Registering is easy with online forms also available and appointment slots to suit most patients’ timetables. You’ll enjoy a confidential service in comfortable surroundings from a helpful and dedicated team. All Patients will have a named General Practitioner at Marsh Surgery who will be Dr. S. Gujral.
Patients regularly complain that it is difficult to get an appointment and this is mainly due to DNA's (Did Not Attend) as these appointments that are wasted could be given to patients who need them.
The Practice does not tolerate time wasting and after 3 non attendances, patients will be reviewed by the GP as to why they did not attend their appointments and may be removed from the Practice List.
Last Month - November 2016 - 56 Patients Did Not Attend!!!
We welcome comments from our patients on ways we can improve our service. We have also formed a Virtual Patient Group - further information is available on the link on the right hand side of this page. Its important to us to get the patient perspective on our service and any planned changes for the future. This Group enables us to survey our patients and get feedback on our plans. If you would like to be more involved with the Group please contact reception with your email address.
