BOOK ON THE DAY APPOINTMENTS - When all advanced appointments have been taken, a system exists by which a certain amount of appointments can be given only on the day, these are available to patients who phone at 8.30am prompt.

URGENT APPOINTMENTS - The nature of the emergency must first be explained to the Receptionist who may need to consult the GP for him to ascertain if an Urgent Appointment is necessary.

TELEPHONE CONSULTATION APPOINTMENTS - Can always be made but will operate after the morning or evening Surgery.

DOUBLE APPOINTMENTS - These can be made on request when the Patient has more than one problem.

ELECTRONIC PRESCRIBING (EPS) IS NOW LIVE AT THE SURGERY WHICH IS A NEW WAY TO GET YOUR MEDICINE:-

If you collect your repeat prescriptions from your GP you will not have to visit the Practice to pick up your paper prescription, Instead, we will now send it electronically to the Pharmacy you choose to save you time.  They can be sent to any Pharmacy near you.  To set this up, you need to get the Pharmacy of you choice to 'Nominate' you, it then appears on our system and any repeat prescriptions are electronically sent to the Pharmacy.

If you feel you need to change your Pharmacy Nomination, you can speak to the Pharmacy and get it changed.  Electronic Prescribing is reliable, secure and confidential.  For more information in details please log onto www.hscic.gov.uk/epspatients

Join Us

Registering is easy with online forms also available and appointment slots to suit most patients’ timetables. You’ll enjoy a confidential service in comfortable surroundings from a helpful and dedicated team.  All Patients will have a named General Practitioner at Marsh Surgery who will be Dr. S. Gujral.

Non-Attendance

Patients regularly complain that it is difficult to get an appointment and this is mainly due to DNA's (Did Not Attend) as these appointments that are wasted could be given to patients who need them.

The Practice does not tolerate time wasting and after 3 non attendances, patients will be reviewed by the GP as to why they did not attend their appointments and may be removed from the Practice List.

Last Month - September 2017 - 39 Patients Did Not Attend!!!
