NHS SYMPTOM CHECKER - https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/
You can get help 24/7 by calling NHS 111 which is designed to make it easier for patients to access health services. The number is free to call and is a fast and easy way for patients to get the right help. It is for patients who:-

- Don't know who to call for medical help
- Think they need to go to A & E or another NHS urgent care service
- Need health information or reassurance about what to do next
Callers to 111 are put through to a team of highly skilled call advisors who are supported by experienced Nurses. They use a clinical assessment system and ask questions to assess a callers needs and determine the most appropriate course of action.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency or life threatening situation.
If you have symptoms associated with coronavirus including a new continuous cough, high temperature and a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste you are advised to stay at home for 7 days. Do not book a GP appointment or attend your GP Practice.
If your symptoms are serious, or get worse, NHS 111 has an online coronavirus service that can tell you if you need further medical help and advise you what to do.
Only call NHS 119 direct if you cannot go online, or are advised to do so by the online service.

Patients regularly complain that it is difficult to get an appointment and this is mainly due to DNA's (Did Not Attend) as these appointments that are wasted could be given to patients who need them.
The Practice does not tolerate time wasting and after 3 non attendances, patients will be reviewed by the GP as to why they did not attend their appointments and may be removed from the Practice List.
We welcome comments from our patients on ways we can improve our service. We have also have a Patient Group - further information is available on the link on the right hand side of this page. Its important to us to get the patient perspective on our service and any planned changes for the future. This Group enables us to survey our patients and get feedback on our plans. If you would like to be more involved with the Group please contact reception with your email address.
